One WOMAN went blind after getting her eyeball tattooed but said getting the tattoo made her feel good.
Model and tattoo artist Sarah Sabbath, 26, has tattooed every visible part of her body and has no plans to stop.
Sarah, from Texas, even had marks etched on her face, nose, and lips, neck and nose.
But one ink injection went horribly wrong when complications from a meniscus tattoo – where pigment is injected under the top layer of her eye – left her blind.
She told Daily Star: “When he finished his eyes, he did not put physiological saline solution in.
“There was too much ink and not enough liquid so I went blind because of the tattoos on my eyes.
“I had a very difficult time doing anything – I couldn’t watch TV, I didn’t like being around bright lights and I didn’t like being outside.
“I was very, very depressed about it.”

She wasn’t successful and she recently went back to getting her face retouched and tattooed.
She told the publication: “I love art. I’m very expressive and polished. I’m attracted to difference so facial tattoos interest me a lot.
“I don’t worry, I tattoo for a living. My look really attracts people. Some think it’s cool and some say they don’t understand.”
The artist said the tattoos on her face are her favorite.
“I love them all but if I had to choose one, I’d say one is my chin. It’s masculine but I love androgyny so it’s perfect for me.”
She said she enjoyed making her face and said it didn’t hurt her that much.
“They’re more injured in certain areas but for the most part for me they feel good,” she said.
“They’ll heal in about two weeks. I spent $800 (about £590).”
It comes as a fan of tattoos spent £12,500 painting his face and even his eyeballs in an attempt to be a human jigsaw puzzle.
The extreme body retouching artist from Germany, known only for his Instagram account ‘Black Depression’, also has titanium teeth.
The 28-year-old hopes to make himself look “as inhumane as possible”.
His unusual face tattoo features various pieces of the puzzle – some colored and others blank.
He also had part of his ear cartilage removed, both earlobes and nostrils punctured and stretched, and had the whites of his eyeballs blackened out.
