I won’t have kids with Tommy for two years so I can financially support myself, says multi-millionaire Molly-Mae

MOLLY-MAE Hague wants to delay having a baby with Tommy Fury in order to “take advantage” of existing opportunities.

The Love Island star was recently criticized for bragging about her work ethic and saying she’d rather make money than friends.

Speaking on her YouTube channel last year, before her recent comments went viral, Molly, 22 years old, shared: “I will be completely honest, sometimes I get really excited by the idea and I think I want to have kids RIGHT NOW.

“But my manager Fran had to make me realize the next few years of my life are the most important years for me, making the most of it and working as hard as I can to make my own life.

“There’s plenty of time to have children and start a family.”

Previously, she confirmed that she would marry Tommy at the time she was 26 years old, while he claimed he was trying to get Molly pregnant and wanted eight children.

He said last year: “Yes, we have, we were snoring in the bedroom, I want twins when I’m 22, simple as that. Molly wants six kids, I want eight.”

Molly also told fans that she are not currently using any birth control methods – but said it wasn’t an intentional move to get pregnant.

She said: “I took the pill a few weeks ago for the first time. I found it very difficult to find the right time each day to take it. I started taking it and no, it wasn’t for me.

Molly made headlines last week about her work ethic during a controversial appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast by Dragons’ Den star Steven Bartlett.

The businesswoman is said to be worth around £2 million.

She was labeled “tone-deaf” by some people after comments on the podcast last month, in which she said: “You are given a life and what you do with it is up to you. You can really go in any direction.

“When I’ve talked about that in the past, I’ve been stressed a little bit, with people saying ‘it’s easy for you to say it because you didn’t grow up poor, so let you sit there and say We all have the same 24 hours in a day that’s not right.’

“But, technically, what I’m saying is right. We do,” the TV personality continued.

“So I understand that we all come from different backgrounds and we’re all raised in different ways and we have different financial situations, but I think if you want all kinds of things, you can achieve it.

“It just depends on how long you want to go to get where you want to be in the future. And I will go to any length.

“I did my best to get where I am,” she concluded.

In the wake of Molly’s comments appearing online, many took to social media to express their displeasure with her cropped affections, pointing out that she had joined one of the UK’s biggest reality show and there are endorsement deals waiting for her.

One person tweeted: “She’s really just been on a TV dating show and getting brand deals, I’m not sure she’s ‘comfortably working here’.”

“It’s funny how people flirt with her so much that she feels comfortable being able to say this,” another commented. “She’s always lived well, and to her the tone is deafening.”

A third person shared: “I like Molly Mae but if you’ve never been poor, you never know how to get out of poverty, it’s an endless cycle.

“Yes, life is yours, but it’s also helpful when you don’t have to stress about what you or your family are having for dinner.”
