Dancing on Ice duo Brendan Cole and Vanessa Bauer put in a stunning performance on Sunday night as they scored a perfect score in the hit ITV competition.

The pair earned a clean ’10’ from the judges after a mesmerizing performance during the week of support.

And they could not hide their excitement when the judges announced the score after their skillful skateboarding.

After judge Ashley Banjo announced his score, Brendan was overjoyed to be able to see his fist pumping air as he hugged his pro skater partner.

The pair continued their chemistry as Oti Mabuse and Jayne Torvil continued with a perfect score before Christopher Dean turned it into a full-fledged home, much to the delight of opponents and live audiences.

Presenter Holly Willoughby showed her own excitement as she exclaimed: “It’s 10s across the board. Oh my God!”

Turning to Brendan, she said: “Brendan, it’s one of those performances that will go down in Dancing on Ice history.

He appeared speechless when asked how his performance was, before praising his partner Vanessa’s return.

The duo incorporated an umbrella into the routine for this week’s performance, which also featured some ambitious choreography, including a “death spiral” in front of a trio of intricate rotating elevators.

In giving her feedback, Oti was clearly touched by their routine as well.

She choked: “For weeks I’ve been saying I want more and I know you. That’s the performance I was talking about.

“I’m dramatic so I like the movie but there’s storytelling. It’s technical and you two just make it look easy.”

In another turn of the show, The Vamps singer Connor Ball suffered a nasty fall during his time on the ice.

He wrote on Twitter: “Guys, I’m fine, my legs are being stitched up now but thank you so much for voting for me again, you guys really can’t believe it, I really lucky (sic).”
