ICONIC Guinness commercial actor Joe McKinney looks unrecognizable 28 years after the hit TV trailer.
The Dancer is known for his appearance in the 1994 Guinness commercial and has gone on to appear in a number of television series and short films.
In the Anticipation commercial, Joe can be seen showing off his dance moves as he waits for a pint of Guinness records to settle.
The trailer became one of the biggest in the Guinness World Records, and its soundtrack – Perez Prado’s Guaglione – was also a huge hit.
Joe, a native of Dublin, has completely changed his look, switching to a clean shaven face and cutting his hair short for a longer beard.
The actor showed off his new look on Twitter, with a black and white photo and laughs at himself.
In the photo, Joe is wearing a dashing suit and fans can clearly see his beard and wavy shoulder-length hair.
Joe previously spent two years making personal appearances to promote the product worldwide following the huge success of the commercials.

But Joe doesn’t want to be known just for his dancing skills.
He told Irish Times: “I finally had to get out. It was overwhelming.
“All the drinking and I don’t want to be the guy who’s known for having a one-hit feat.
“I know I have a lot more work to do. I have to stop and regroup. I don’t want to be another drunk Irish Paddy who just got off the boat.”
Joe starred in Glenroe, an RTE 2 documentary series Hollywood Trials in 2008, and had small roles in several films, including 2004’s King Arthur and 2008’s Anton.
He added: “I’m ticking. I’m still auditioning but now I’m being seen as an actor, as opposed to the famous introduction from the commercial 16 years ago.”
