‘If you’re listening I’m sorry’ – Lewis Capaldi reveals beef to neighbor and Celtic legend Neil Lennon

Lewis Capaldi revealed his beef to celebrity neighbor Neil Lennon, which led to the former Celtic coach leaving a note on the Scottish pop star’s car.

He’s a former Northern Ireland international who lives on one side of Capaldi’s house in west Glasgow with former Rangers player Andy Halliday living on the other.

The revelation came during a humorous exchange on Clyde 1 radio in which the Forgot Me singer was asked how he left the house.

“It’s okay, I live with a bunch of old people – I’ve moved into an old man’s house,” he quips.

“No – the people around me are not really fans of my music.”

The 26-year-old star later revealed that he had more than once rubbed off with his famous neighbour.

Capaldi explains: “Mr Lennon – I parked in his place a few times and I got a note on my door.

“So if you’re listening to Neil, I’m sorry.

“Don’t leave a note on my car – just ask me to move it and I’ll move it.”

Capaldi changed her parking routine to keep the peace with her neighbor, but ended up annoying another resident.

“And then I park it in another space where I live and then I’m like this woman [who] wrote, and I don’t know if it’s a woman but if it’s a woman I think it’s the person who lives in the house,” he explained.

“I don’t know because they never put their apartment number on it because they are a coward.

“But it’s basically saying, ‘Ok, you’re blocking the way blah, blah, blah, blah, blah – other than that, I hope you never need an ambulance in a hurry’.

“How was I!?

“It’s a threat to my life.”

It comes after Capaldi overtook Ed Sheeran with the most streamed UK song ever.

someone You Loved topped Sheeran’s Shape Of You on the list compiled to celebrate the Official Singles Chart’s 70th anniversary.

It has achieved 562 million audio and video streams.

Capaldi calls himself the “king of music” after receiving an award and an inflatable crown from the Official Charts Company.

After joking that “nice boys get to the finish line,” he praised Sheeran, who has co-wrote with him, as “like an older brother” and a “mentor.”
