I’m 54 years old and I love dating people who are 26 years old

ULRIKA Jonsson said she prefers dating younger men because they don’t know who she is.

The 54-year-old is currently looking for love on Celebs Go Dating and admits that her dates have been “a little younger” so far.

Asked by Janet Street-Porter in today’s Loose Women magazine, she said: “The last few times, I’ve only really had dates, I guess, I haven’t been in a relationship with anyone yet. – but the dates were a bit younger, yes.

“They don’t know I’m Ulrika Jonsson, which is great.

“It was a dream, having someone show you who you are and now that they know about you, I feel so refreshed.”

She added: “I guess the youngest is 26. So yes, 26, 30.”

The presenter has been married three times but has been single for more than two years after her last relationship ended.

Speaking last week about not caring about age, she said: “It’s about maturing a person so I gave them some spare time in that department!

“I guess I’ve been a little cautious about dating men my age because, in my experience, they seem pretty dull.

“I don’t want to be boring anymore, I want to have fun.”

Ulrika divorced third husband Brian Monet in 2019 after marrying in 2008 and admitted they had sex only once in the past eight years of their marriage.

Writing in The Sun last week, Ulrika discussed her love life and what she hopes to find in 2022.

The mother of four says: “What I hope for is someone in my life who is willing to appreciate and respect me for who I am.

“Someone honest and dedicated to some form of ‘we’ – but a ‘we’ that doesn’t live together or in each other’s pockets.

“I don’t need someone to take my kids. I don’t need help changing light bulbs. What I want is to be loved and appreciated while doing all the exciting things life can open up to.

“I want to have laughter and good times without having to argue about who’s picking up the dishwasher tonight.

“I want long trips. I want a love affair that lasts only as long as it has meaning.”
