I’m a car expert – what your car really says about your personality & why you should avoid a silver engine

For some, a car is simply a means of transportation that gets them from A to B, for others iIt reflects their personality and character.
That’s why some people are perfectly happy driving a battered engine with a dangling license plate, others spend time and effort making sure their vehicle is in top condition.
But what do these choices say about you?
From color to accessories, choose Chris Pollitt – Editor-in-Chief here Car & Classic – communicates exactly what your car reveals…
color
You see, buying a silver or white car is good when it comes to reselling the car. But why choose the color of the next owner?
Make dull colors she blunt.

It’s your car and your money. live a little If you have a green, blue or even a yellow carDo it.
Bright cars make for a bright, bold and confident personality.
modifications
The modified car scene is huge, but it’s also very subjective.
Some mods might trigger while everyone else is left with a questioning look on their faces.
Cheap mods, decals, stupid exhausts on 1.0 cars, and body panels (unless something premium) are all pretty rubbish.
Lower it but don’t bang it in the weeds, and put on some nice wheels and you’ll be a rider with taste and distinction.
Put stickers and neon lights on it and nobody will talk to you.
model
Maybe you’ve had a certain brand in your family for years, maybe you’ve seen a good deal on it, or you’ve heard about it from someone who doesn’t know anything about cars.
When it comes to new cars, there are no bad ones.
So, from the driver’s seat, you’ll be fine no matter what you buy.
However, if you bother to buy a Honda Jazz, which by the way is a perfectly good car, no one will invite you to parties.
However, if you buy a classic Mercedes-Benz or even a 1980s BMW 3 Series or even a Ford Focus, that’s a different story.
Condition
The condition of the car can say a lot about a person.
Making it look beautiful is not difficult.
Most supermarkets have a car wash, every high street seems to have a hand wash.
Wash your car, keep it clean. It shows that you are a conscientious person.
If your wheels are shaped more like a 50p coin after hitting the curb six thousand times, that shows you don’t care.
The same applies to damage. A broken light, bumps and dents, and so on and so on.
Owning a car is a pleasure, so take care of it.
If something broke in your house you would have it fixed, so why should your car be any different?
Also, more people see your car than your house.
If your car is dingy, they will think you are dingy. And you’re not… are you?
Accesories
Now don’t confuse these with modifications.
Mods are for people who are interested in cars, even if their additions are questionable.
When I say accessories, I mean the stuff bought by people who don’t know one end of the car from the other because they think the accessories are “cute” or, God forbid, “funny.” Moan.
Car eyelashes should be punishable by jail.
sticker baby on board? Nobody cares.
Stickers with “amusing” sayings like “Black box mounted, sorry, I’m slow” or worst of all, additional plaques and numbers that have nothing to do with the car are automotive sins.
You say you think you’re hilarious, but you’re actually as funny as a fart in an elevator.
Mark
This is a big thing for me.
None of my cars have their nameplates. Instead they all new, clean and crisp legal style plates.
Those horrible 4D plates that look like they’re made out of LEGO don’t make you look cool.
The same goes for panels that are improperly spaced or panels with screws/fasteners that have been moved to make a 0 look like an 8 or something.
Private signage is fine, but if you have to change spacing or fixtures to make it say what you want, you’re breaking the law. Plain and simple.
