According to Emirates cabin crew member Rhiannon Corbett, the very first step when it comes to this pack suitcase is to make a list.

Though it may seem pretty obvious, Rhiannon says, “A packing checklist is essential as it not only helps you save time packing but also reduces the possibility of forgetting everything important you need for your trip.”

Rhiannon also proposes Packaging with plenty of time ahead of your trip rather than leaving it until the last minute.

This way you are less likely to forget something and the stress level will be much lower on your well-deserved short vacation.

Rhiannon also recommends checking the weather forecast for your destination before you start packing – just to make sure you’re not packing unnecessary items.

She suggests, “Try to pack versatile items that can be used in more than one way, such as Clothing that is flexible enough to cover a variety of situations – this is a smart way to keep your packing list to a minimum and leave enough space for everything you need.”

Rhiannon swears by it too rolling clothes, instead of folding. This should maximize the space available in your suitcase.

She added: “Try to use it packaging cubethey’re a great way to compress your clothes and accessories to maximize space, organize your items, and prevent items from moving around when you travel.

“Carry your heaviest items instead of packing them. Carrying your bulky items like coats and jackets can help save crucial space in your suitcase!”

Rhiannon then stressed the importance of not overpacking.

She said: “Only pack what you actually intend to use, forgotten items or emergency items can usually be bought at your trip destination.”

Rhiannon also argues that leaving a little extra room in your luggage allows you to indulge in more holiday shopping without worrying about being able to fit everything on the return trip.

Her fourth tip is to use travel-friendly refillable bottles for your toiletriesand explains: “Not only are you good for the environment, but you also prevent yourself from ingesting more product than you really need! Don’t forget to write them with a permanent marker.

“Keep your toiletries in a clear cosmetic bag. Choosing a waterproof cosmetic bag not only makes it easier to see everything you’ve packed, it also prevents spills from ending up in the rest of your bag.”

Rhiannon’s last top tip for packing before your summer vacation was to bring a good book.

She said: “Packing up a good book is a great way to kick back and have some time to yourself when you travel, plus it’s an ideal activity before bed.”
