I’m a health coach and here’s my McDonald’s “ordering hack” to get a high protein meal WITHOUT the guilt

IF you’re a fan of McDonald’s, you probably love their breakfast menu.
It might feel like that double bacon and egg McMuffin is on the so-called naughty list when trying to lose weight.
But an expert has revealed how you can still indulge yourself at McDonald’s without feeling guilty about it.
Posting on TikTok, health coach Bec Hardgrave said her hack means you can get a high-protein meal that’s still tasty and scratching your itch for a treat.
The Australian said it was her drive-thru order.
“It gives you a lower calorie, higher protein McMuffin Bacon Egg Burger.


“Add a Bacon and Egg McMuffin to your order, then customize.
“Remove the oil, remove the cheese, add an extra egg, and then some tomato sauce.
“That’s about 300 calories and almost 30 grams of protein,” she explained.
That Australian menu is slightly different in the UK but you can get a similar order from your local branch.

In the UK, bacon and egg McMuffin comes in at 335 calories with a protein count of 20 grams per serving.
It makes up just three percent of your daily recommended sugar intake, but 26 percent of your daily salt intake.
Adding another egg for 73 calories and removing the cheese slice (47 calories) and liquid vegetable oil (41 calories) reduces that to 320 calories.
If you want to cut down on processed meat, you can always switch to one Egg and Cheese McMuffin for only 295 calories.
If you want to hit higher protein goals, you can add another egg, remove the cheese and oil, and bring the muffin up to 280 calories.
EAT UP
The fitness guru shares a slew of “food dupes” — including the best meals for — on her TikTok account Fat loss and muscle building and low-calorie options at other chains like KFC.
A take away meal is a nice treat and can be included in your meals as part of a healthy and balanced diet.
But chemicals have previously been found to be found in items from McDonald’s, Burger King, Pizza Hut and dominoes Meals can harm your health.

These chemicals are used to soften plastics and were found in 80 percent of the samples collected.


The chemical is linked to a range of health problems, including problems in the endocrine system, which is a set of glands that produce and secrete hormones in the body, a previous study found.
