I’m a hotel employee and this is how you get scammed into your breakfast

The bag of complimentary hotel breakfasts is one of the best parts of spending a night away.

But the complacency you usually feel when you get a free meal is about to disappear as a hotel employee revealed that guests are often tricked into the first meal of the day.

A hotel employee revealed that the hotel he worked for had branded the cereals available for breakfast.

A hotel employee revealed that the hotel he worked for had branded the cereals available for breakfast.

A Tiktok user with a handle @ khammer123 shared a video showing breakfast cereal available at a hotel.

He feeds three Kellogg’s cereals in plastic dispensers that each have a sticker that says what’s inside – Bran Raisins, Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes.

The dispenser even has a red Kellogg’s logo on the dial and says Kellogg’s on the plastic stand.

The Tiktok user said: “Just looking at these beautifully named branded cereals, there’s nothing to see here.”

He then walked into a locker to reveal the actual packaging the cereal was in, all without a label.

He said: “They cappin [lying] for you. There are no named brands, it’s all fake. Don’t trust anyone. “

The video has been viewed 686,000 times and viewers have mixed reactions to the revelation.

But the dispensers are actually filled with unbranded cereal instead of the popular Kellogg's it says on the label.

Another way: “It’s the same – all you’re paying is the brand [name]”, and another wrote: “It tastes the same. “

The fourth wrote: “It’s cereal. Who gives like *** in a fancy continental breakfast.”

Others were unhappy about what they had seen and deemed false advertising unacceptable.

One person wrote: “This is not okay”, and another said: “Everything at the hotel is fake, EVERYTHING.”

Another shared their concern about the risk of an allergic reaction to a mislabeled product.

They say: “I’m not familiar with brands and brands but if they use different ingredients, this can be really dangerous.”

A former hotel employee has revealed how you can always get free breakfast from your hotel.

But be warned, another former hotel employee shared why you should never eat a hot breakfast – especially eggs and waffles.

The best hotel breakfast in the world was revealed – and a Premier Inn was shortlisted.

Some viewers were concerned that people might have an allergic reaction because the cereal was mislabeled
