Have YOU ever pulled out your bed sheet and realized how terribly yellow your mattress is?
Before you decide to throw all your furniture away, a professional housekeeper reveals how you can make it look like new with little to no effort.
“I’m a housekeeper and I’m going to show you how to stain your mattress with things you already own,” revealed TikTok star Vanessa Amaro on her latest episode. videotapes.
She explains that you’ll need a toothbrush (preferably the one you don’t use anymore) and a spray bottle.
You’ll put two cups of water in the bottom of a spray bottle, as well as two cups of hydrogen peroxide, five drops of dish soap, and if desired, five drops of essential oils.
After you’ve mixed well, spray the concoction directly onto the spot and “gently brush off.”
After a few seconds of brushing, wipe the stain with a towel.
You will want to repeat brushing and blotting until the stain is completely gone.
After removing all the stains, you should vacuum the mattress to remove dust mites and dead skin cells that accumulate over time.
But that’s not all – you also have to check the condition of your pillow to make sure you get the best sleep possible.
Previously, a savvy mom showed how she determines if her pillow is ready to change.
TikTok star Carolina McCauley reveals that there’s a VERY easy (and somewhat crude) way to tell if it’s “expired”.
“Check your pillows are past their expiration date by folding them up and holding them for 30 seconds,” she says in a video.
“If it grows back, it’s still good.”
And if not, that means it can be weighed down by dead skin and sweat.
