An urgent heat warning is being issued to those most at risk, with the Met Office predicting highs of 35C.

Official Met forecasts say high temperatures are expected to continue through Sunday and not drop below the low 20s in many areas.

While everyone is rushing to get their fan out, there are also some organic hacks you can try.

And everything is in your face, your palms and your soles.

“It’s hot outside so let me show you how science can help you cool off,” the TikToker said.

“The human body has three main compartments that regulate temperature.

“These regions are special because they have a very specific structure of veins and arteries, so when you cool these regions, you can remove a lot of heat from your body very quickly.”

To help you cool down quickly, you can start by simply applying cold water to your palm.

Put your feet in a bucket of cold water.

And put an ice pack on your face for a little while.

Together these should really help lower your temperature everywhere.
