I’m so famous, I hire staff just in case people take pictures of me while I’m on vacation, says Molly-Mae Hague

MOLLY-MAE Hague has revealed that she has hired staff to be on the lookout for people taking pictures of her while she’s on vacation.

Since starting filming to become famous in the fifth season of Love Island three years ago, 22 years old has become one of the biggest success stories of the ITV2 show.

Molly boasts an impressive 6.2 million followers on Instagram, owns her own faux brown leather filter company, and was recently appointed creative director of fashion brand Pretty Little Thing.

Despite her successes, she’s had some “really low” moments in her career, including when she was trolled about how she looked in a set of photos from a shoot in Barbados.

But for now, the reality star has hired someone to make sure that never happens again.

Molly recently told host Steven Bartlett on Diary of a CEO podcast: “We follow pap all the time, and if we do leave on a campaign, we actually have someone on a special mission to find the people taking the pictures so that doesn’t happen again because it’s pretty cool. bad.”

The YouTuber opened up about what happened and confessed that she had no clue where the photos were being taken at the time.

She explains: “Once when we went to Barbados to shoot an advertising campaign for our fake brown-skinned business and we were followed the entire trip by the paparazzi, we didn’t even notice. found!

“They were posing like the architectural photographers in front of this building and I had a moment thinking ‘Is that guy taking a picture of me?”

“But I just don’t think he took pictures of the building behind me.”

Molly added: “It’s horrible, people call me fat, I’m overweight and I’m a size 8, so it upsets me to think that if people call me overweight… a size 10 girl very normal, so what, will they think I’m being called fat?

“It’s heartbreaking. The whole troll thing I’m done with, I’m really good at dealing with it.

“My approach is that if it doesn’t matter, people can say what they want to say, they’re really unhappy in their lives to the point where they try and knock you down. Sadly, but you learn how to deal with it.”

It comes after Molly recently criticized comments she made about her success by highlighting “we all have the same 24 hours in the day” on the same podcast.

The TV star’s comments angered fans and some said they were “tone deaf” as she hinted at making money off people. need to work harder, completely ignoring social inequality.

On Monday night, the reality buff issued an apology.

Molly wrote on Instagram: “I totally appreciate that things can affect different people in different ways, however I just wanted to stress that I would never have intended to hurt or upset anyone by anything I say or do.

“I apologize to those who have been negatively affected or misunderstood the meaning of what I said in the podcast.

“The purpose of the podcast is just to tell my story and inspire from my own experiences.”
