A SAMPLE who said she’s “too hot”, the men who won’t stop attacking her in the gym are now looking to hire a BODY so she can train in peace of mind.
Monica Huldt, 37, lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she goes to the gym at least five times a week – and every time is gossiped by men.
Although the Polish native, who has 305,000 followers on Instagram, feels it’s great that men find her attractive, she’s fed up with having to skip unwanted strides during workouts. .
The gym is also her “safe space” and – having suffered from sexual harassment in the past – the constant attention can sometimes make her feel insecure.
Monica now plans to hire a burly bodyguard to stand by her side while she gets representation – and she’s willing to splurge on the right person.
“Exercise and exercise is super important to me because I do it not only for my physical health but also for my mental health,” she says.
“I usually go to the gym at least once every time I go and I exercise at least five times a week so it can get a little tiring.
“For example, one day I was looking at my phone and this old guy came up to me and said, ‘Don’t try to text me, I don’t have my phone with me.’
“I replied that I didn’t text him and then he asked if I wanted to.
“I really enjoy knowing they find me attractive because I didn’t have the best self-esteem growing up – but most of the time I just want to be left alone so I can get in and out.
“I’m happy to be paying $3,000 (£2,198) a month to someone who does a good job and can scare people off.
“He wouldn’t even have to do that much work.
“Just coming with me to the gym and some photo shoots, I wouldn’t want him around 24/7.
“That would be too much.”
The unwanted attention at the gym is also said to remind the model of some scary and traumatic encounters.
“I had a stalker before, who somehow found out my number,” Monica said.
“This guy would text me pretending to be other people, like my eyelash extension woman, a photographer I worked with and even a doctor.
“It was super creepy and I had to block all the numbers he would text.
“I still don’t know who he is, he’s just a random man.
“Another time when I was still in Sweden, I was waiting for the train and a guy started trying to strike up a conversation with me.
“When I was trying to leave because my train was coming, he grabbed my leg as I was running up the stairs at the train station and tried to pull me into an alley.
“Thankfully people came and he ran away but it was scary.
“I shudder at what might have happened if he hadn’t been interrupted.”
Monica – a self-proclaimed ‘traditional wife’ – ignores the men as she is happily married to husband, John, 40.
She said her husband was not “threatened” by other men trying to woo his wife but was concerned for her safety.
Monica added: “John is actually quite proud and always tells me that he would love to have such a hot wife.
“He’s not threatened at all, although he does get nervous when I’m out alone at night.”
