Imogen Horton opens pop-up shop in Brighton’s i360

Social media influencer Imogen Horton will showcase her sustainable makeup and clothing line in a new pop-up shop at i360.

The Hunny store, created and founded in 2018 by the Brighton-based star, opens this weekend at the seafront landmark, offering “affordable, ethical and chic” make-up and clothing.

The Brighton star, 28, said: “A lot of people want to be sustainable but it can be difficult to know where to start.

“My makeup and loungewear is affordable, accessible, ethical and chic. The makeup palettes and lip kits are 100 percent vegan and cruelty-free, and all clothing is made from organic cotton and recycled polyester – and a tree is planted for every product sold.”

Known as “Imogenation” to her followers, she has over 400,000 subscribers on YouTube and almost 250,000 followers on Instagram.

Fans of the YouTuber also have the opportunity to meet her in person at the pop-up shop.

Imogen launched her YouTube channel in 2017, vlogging fashion hacks and makeup tutorials. She eventually quit her job at a Mayfair nightclub to pursue online content production full-time.

Imogen said: “I try to share the good, the bad, the better and the ugly on my channels to create a space for my subscribers to get to know me and feel less separated by the screen, and that always comes in Feedback on the printout I receive.

“I’m always grateful that people are interested in me and continue to spend their time watching my life unfold. That’s why I like to meet them in real life and thank them for investing in me.

“I’m really excited about a pop-up at the i360 as it’s in my hometown of Brighton, a place that’s very close to my heart.”

About 10 percent of profits from this weekend’s pop-up shop will be donated to the Mind charity.

“I hope that by donating a sum of money to the charity after the day’s sales, I will not only raise money but also create important awareness for the incredible things the charity is doing,” said Imogen.

The pop-up shop and meet and greet will take place on October 22nd between 1pm and 4pm at the i360 retail store. Imogen Horton opens pop-up shop in Brighton’s i360
