Ms Hinch was forced to move from her previous home – to a more secluded property – after a bitter argument with her neighbors last year.
The star, whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, bought a sprawling new estate with her husband Jamie, 39, a few months ago, but the pair were forced to keep quiet about their new adobe until they put security measures in place after their long hell of theirs previous neighbors.
Ms Hinch recently revealed the truth behind her family’s seemingly sudden move to their new Essex pad as she opened up about being forced to flee her last property.
In a Q&A with her legion of Instagram fans, the cleaning mogul admitted the family had to vacate the property due to a “privacy issue.”
She said she wouldn’t “go into too much detail” because she didn’t want to “satisfy” those involved.
“Jamie had wanted to move for some time due to a privacy issue that arose after we expanded the house.”
The bestselling author said: “I was in such a mess because I didn’t want to move. I cried to him and said, ‘This is my home.’ I didn’t want to lose it. So I promised him I could fix it.”
She said it prompted them to install “weird, tall, basketball net-looking trees” for more privacy, and that there was even a “crazy CCTV system” on the property.

“I really did my best behind the scenes, but in the end it wasn’t enough. Jamie was right. I put band-aids over things and from that day on I felt like I had lost my home and I was in a really, really deep place,” she added.
“But everything happens for a reason, doesn’t it. I am so thankful for my life and wouldn’t change a thing, but a lot happens behind closed doors and if only some people knew how much their selfish actions affect others. But they won’t win.”
There were also other issues that forced Sophie and her family to move.
In 2019, Ms. Hinch applied to have the house extended at the back, but was met with objections.
A neighbor lodged a complaint, saying: “The proposed expansion will affect the enjoyment of the neighbor’s garden and privacy.
“The house already overlooks the neighboring garden and back bedroom from the bedroom windows and side windows and the extension will make that worse.”
