In the plans of the world’s richest to survive the apocalypse

The richest people in the world have been preparing for the apocalypse for a long time.

Everyone is probably afraid of the end of the world, but unlike the mega-rich, there isn’t much that most of us can do to avoid it.

With immense wealth, members of the world's elite have built shelters and spaceships to escape the apocalypse.

One wealthy individual, JC Cole, told the New York Post that he started Safe Haven Farms to escape natural disasters.

Safe Haven is a maximum security estate for the rich to hide from pandemics or nuclear wars.

The price to enter this luxurious safe haven with two undisclosed locations is a cool $3 million investment.

“The majority of Americans don’t have voluntary insurance policies,” said Cole The post.

“If [or] If the supply chain collapses, these people will have no food. A certain percentage of them will break the law and do whatever it takes to get food. That’s why we don’t want to stay trackable.”

luxury yachts

While some rich people plan to hide in luxurious country bunkers, others head to the sea for hiding.

And there is no better way to navigate the seas than in a huge luxury yacht.

These ships can range in length from 120 feet to over 300 feet and come with an insane amount of amenities.

In 2021, 887 superyachts were sold worldwide, representing a 77% increase year-on-year, the Post noted.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is one of those who has invested in not one, but two such yachts.

Obtain citizenship in another country

Google co-founder Larry Page received his New Zealand citizenship in 2021.

New Zealand was one of the least affected countries when COVID-19 was rampant.

And now it is becoming one of the most desirable places to live for wealthy individuals.

But before that, Page mentioned that if the company ever collapsed, he and his buddy Peter Theil, who co-founded PayPal, would flee to Theil’s private property.

spaceship

When the earth is so close to catastrophe that there is no safety on land or sea, then there is only one option: go into space.

Billionaire Elon Musk has long advocated migrating to places like Mars to save humanity.

And it stands to reason that he would use one of his SpaceX rockets to launch from Earth should the world end.

Billionaire Jeff Bezos also has his own version of SpaceX called Blue Origin.
