North Carolina native Steven Pladl began an incestuous relationship with his biological daughter, Katie Fusco, that devastated the entire family and ended in tragedy.

When husband and wife Steven Pladl and his wife Alyssa Pladl of North Carolina separated, their lives became embroiled in incest scandal and tragedy.

The two had a daughter, Katie Fusco, who was put up for adoption in 1998.

Katie knew she was adopted and one day she wanted to find her birth parents.

When she was 18, she decided to try to find her mother and father and find out who they were.

Katie reconnected with her parents through social media and eventually moved in with them and their other two children near Richmond, Virginia in 2016.

Alyssa and Steven even got to watch Katie graduate from high school in New York.

But then things started to get complicated for the family.

Steven and Alyssa’s marriage was on the brink and they split just three months after Katie joined them.

In the months before Steven moved out, he slept on the floor of Katie’s room to be away from his wife.

Steven and Katie moved together to Knightdale, North Carolina, about 150 miles from where the family used to live.

A year later, Alyssa received a call from Steven saying the ex-couple’s 11-year-old daughter had started misbehaving.

Curious as to what might be going on, Alyssa began investigating.

She found her daughter’s journal and looked inside to discover a terrifying revelation that would change the family’s lives forever.

Journal entries revealed that Steven and Katie had an incestuous relationship.

The confused 11-year-old girl had written in her journal what her birth father and daughter Steven and Katie were doing.

There were even drawings of them both portrayed as devils.

According to that Daily Mail The 11-year-old wrote in the diary: “Katie is pregnant. Dad says they feel like a couple. Were you a little too drunk that night? My dad sucks.

“He is Satan. He’s fucking SATAN.

“He will go to hell, but he will not be the one who will be tortured, he will be the one who will torture people.

“Wait a second, if he’s Satan and Katie is human, then the baby is half demon.”

Alyssa was shocked and devastated by the sickening revelation.

She found out they wanted to get married and had Stevens instruct other children to call Katie their stepmother.

When the authorities found out what had happened, an arrest warrant was issued for both of them.

After being tracked down, Steven and Katie were charged with adult incest, adultery and contributing to crime.

But the story didn’t end there.

Police found a four-month-old baby boy believed to have been fathered by Steven in the home.

Alyssa blames her ex-husband for the whole affair, believing he seduced and brainwashed Katie.

Steven and Alyssa divorced in 2017, just before Katie became pregnant with Steven’s child.

The couple shared pictures on social media showing the little boy.

After her arrest, Katie moved back in with her adoptive parents, the Fuscos.

On April 12, 2018, Katie and her adoptive father, Tony, were on their way to visit her adoptive grandmother’s home.

Surveillance showed Steven Pladl watching them before gunshots were heard.

Katie and Tony were fatally shot and Steven was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot.

Shortly after the murder-suicide, Steven’s mother, Grace, called the police and reported that her son had told her he had killed the baby, Katie and her adoptive father.
