Indie MMO Spotlight: Back on track

Every week we scour the internet to find all things indie MMO related stuff, so you don’t have to. After a rather quiet episode last week, the developers are back at it this week. Although some developers have announced the postponement of the test, many studios have pushed out patches filled with new content and updates. We even have a new addition to IMS, although some of you won’t be too excited to hear it includes NFT. In any event, there’s a lot to go through, so let’s waste time and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Aether’s Story

The Hollow Chase: Dungeon patch went live on Friday. You can now join Briggs alone (Story Mode) or in a party (Normal Mode). Of course, Normal Mode offers better loot. Check the change log channel on Aether’s Story Discord for the full patch notes.

Tourism book

With their latest patch (0.18.240222.31946), Might & Delight has rolled out a bunch of other fixes to Tourism book. Along with a bunch of UI fixes, there are several combat fixes, including a rule change so that the attack counter continues to count up even when defending. Chimeraland

There’s a lot to do in Chimeralandso, to help new players get a hold of their fruits, Proxima Beta added a new guide on their website to introduce you to some of the activities available. Part 1 of instruction include power surfing, fishing, the Village and the Space Penalty Colony. Part 2 is all about different toys you can get and how to get gold.

Corepunk

It’s been a while since the Artificial Man-made posted an update on Corepunk’s evolution. A new post on Corepunk website released a quick update on how the studio is dealing with the situation in Ukraine, including its decision to move much of its operations from its office in Kyiv to Athens, Greece.

Cycle: Border
