Annabelle Ham, an influencer and YouTube content creator, has died at the age of 22 as a result of an “epileptic event”, according to her family.

“This is Annabelle’s family. We write this with a heavy, heavy heart. “Annabelle suffered an epileptic seizure and went to the gates of heaven,” read a post on Ham’s Instagram account on Monday. “She has struggled with this for a long time and wanted to draw attention to what we will be doing in her honor.”

“Annabelle was beautiful and inspirational and lived life to the fullest. Everyone she met was inspired by her energy and the light in her soul that shone so bright,” the post reads. “She was and will always be so loved.”

Ham’s family asked for “an opportunity to mourn” and urged people “not to spread unfounded speculation or details”.

“It will be time to share more details and delve deeper into her life. Her accounts will be used to tell what she has been through and the joys she has brought to all of us,” the post reads.

Ham’s other sister, Amelia Ham, called in her own post: “You would never believe something like this would or could happen to you until it did.”
