BROOKLYN Beckham’s impressive engine collection has been unveiled after his parents gave him a £500,000 vintage Jaguar as a wedding present.
David and Victoria Beckham’s son may be just 23 but the newlywed already has an enviable collection of cars, including a £38,000 Mercedes-Benz which he received for passing his test.
Brooklyn’s newest addition to its fleet is an electric Jaguar XK120, thought to have been a wedding present from father David, costing around half a million pounds.
It seems that Brooklyn inherited his love of flashy cars from his father and has been driven around in a number of flashy vehicles in the past.
In 2017 he was spotted in Los Angeles at the age of 18 behind the wheel of a BMW M3 worth around £60,000.
The car has a top speed of 155 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just four seconds.
He also keeps a £35,000 Jeep at the Beckham family home in California.
He’s believed to prefer cruising around London in a £37,615 Mercedes C-Class.
The Blitz engine can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and the then-teenager was seen getting into the driver’s seat shortly after his driving test.
When he was learning to drive, he was spotted at the wheel of a Mercedes A-Class and a Peugeot 208 hatchback.
Just months after he passed his test, Brooklyn and a friend were spotted at a Beverly Hills petrol station in a £102,350 Mercedes-Benz GL 63 AMG.
Brooklyn has also indulged his love of cars with his growing career as a photographer, and has done a series of photo shoots featuring some very snazzy cars, including a futuristic ‘next-gen’ BMW, a BMW Z4 and a ‘pop art’ BMW, designed in the USA style by Andy Warhol.
He spoke about the Z4 taking a spin at the purpose built racetrack at The Thermal Club near Palm Springs when he was 19 years old GQ: “The Z4 is probably the meanest car I’ve ever seen.
“And it’s so fast. I went to Munich a few months ago and met the guys who designed it.
“You guided me through the entire process, from start to finish.”
He also told the publication that he developed a love for cars from an early age.
Brooklyn said, “Me and my dad are real car guys… correct. I’ve been driving go-karts since I was a little kid. Am I a practical driver? i think i’m ok My friends think it’s me.”
He added: “I’m old school. I’ve always been interested in classic cars. Form is important, but how it rides is important to me. I’ve never felt more at home in anything than a vintage BMW 5 Series.”
