Jaguar XK8
Sir David was certainly a Jag man, having owned a few in his day.
One of them was this stunning Jaguar XK8 in green over a brown and cream leather interior.
He also owned another one in a lighter metallic green, again with a light cream interior.
Speak with The times In 2017, Sir David said his XK8 was his “pride and joy”.
Jaguar XJS
Before his XK8, Sir David opted for the classic equivalent – the Jaguar XJS.
Exactly this car was sold at auction some time ago.
The ad said the 1991 4.0 XJS, painted burgundy with a cream leather interior, had only done 61,600 miles at the time.
It was purchased brand new by David Jason Entertainment before being registered in the star’s real name, David White.
Volkswagen Golf GTI convertible
You rarely see a Volkswagen Golf Mark II these days, let alone a Golf Mark II GTI.
But a Volkswagen Golf Mark II GTI Cabriolet is as rare as chicken teeth.
Sir David had this exact car in a smart white color scheme with an interior to match.
The car is sold with it Silverstone Auctions back in 2020 for almost £26,000.
Sir David bought it for his longtime partner and it was one of only 138 limited edition All White models ever made.
Rolls Royce 20hp Landaulette
We couldn’t piece together Sir David Jason’s cars without some of his most famous on-screen engines.
One of them is the Rolls-Royce he drove in The Darling Buds of May.
David played Sidney “Pop” Larkin alongside Pam Ferris and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the 1990s comedy.
The scooter already fetched £63,000 at auction in 2021, having sold for £100,000 just two years earlier.
Reliant Regal Supervan III
Probably the most famous of all the cars Sir David Jason has ever driven on screen; his bright yellow Reliant Regal Van.
Del Boy’s van was regularly spotted as he and Rodney crammed in on their way to their next money-making venture.
There was actually a fleet of six Reliant Regals used during the 22 year filming of Only Fools and Horses.

Sir David called the Trotters Independent Trading Van a “symbol of great British eccentricity”.
He was reunited with one of the six during filming in 2021, while another was sold for £36,000 in the same year.
