Inside Mike Tindall’s Anniversary Celebrations – Instagram Jokes and Outfit Swaps

Mike Tindall, 43, who is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara, has left royal fans in awe after giving a behind-the-scenes look at the platinum anniversary celebrations

Mike Tindall certainly enjoyed himself during the Platinum Jubilee.

His cheeky antics at the celebrations left people in the lurch – as he tried on his wife Zara’s fascinators and compared her outfit to starbursts.

The rugby star, 43, is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara and has been attending all the major royal events in recent days.

He celebrated the Queen’s occasion with a series of photos on Instagram.

The father-of-three shared a snap of his wife next to her cousin Princess Eugenie, dressed in colorful outfits: “When you mix and match your favorite starbursts!! Two world class ladies!! #starburst #platinumjubilee.’

It was a rare unguarded photo of the two, whose parents Prince Andrew and Princess Anne are siblings.

Mike also shared a series of photos of him posing in his wife’s fascinators – which she wore to Thanksgiving and Trooping of Color services.

In a cheeky snap, he wrote: “‘Personal favorite of mine! I definitely need to wear more hats.’

On another, he added: “Hat day 2! darling so far! What color do you think tomorrow will be?’

Taking to Twitter, a royal fan wrote: “Mike Tindall is definitely the fun and cool uncle #HM70 ”

Another wrote: “Royal Fam needs more Mikes.”

In another post, he said the couple is looking forward to the next few days “to celebrate one of the greatest women on the planet.”

Speaking about Her Majesty on Good Morning Britain last month, the father-of-three added: “I think the Queen is an incredible woman… I think people think she’s invincible at times but you have to remember that.” she’s a 96 year old – old at the end of the day.

“She’s amazing at what she’s done in her life and I can’t wait to celebrate.”

Earlier, Mike and Zara’s daughter Mia was spotted fistfighting with Princess Charlotte while watching the military parade at Horse Guards Parade for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Afterwards, Princess Charlotte was seen with her younger brother Prince Louis as he greeted, while Princess Beatrice was also on hand to point out what was going on.
