A naturist resort offers family-friendly games like Monopoly, where guests strip naked and play together.

Fern Hills Club in Bloomington, Indiana, USA has been a safe haven for nudists for 75 years.

Parents take their kids swimming, tennis, and golf without getting dressed in the morning.

The family-run resort has had horny members marched off the premises when they’re too “immature” to avoid being overwrought.

Guests can play a naked version of the giant Monopoly called “Campopoly”.

There’s also a large playground where naked children can climb and play outside, the reports Daily Star.

Background checks are conducted on new guests to maintain the family-friendly atmosphere and ensure they are not staying for the wrong reasons.

Co-owner and Treasurer Karen Bauer said, “Once you walk through the gate, it’s like the outside world just fades away.”

Karen has had an interest in Fern Hills since her parents managed it in 1966 and bought it 10 years later.

In 2003, Karen and her sisters took over the club and she has since brought her husband Jawn Bauer, a senior law firm partner, on board.

“It’s not about sex. It’s just about enjoying the outdoors in a way that’s fun,” Jawn told IDS News.

The couple shared how men are often concerned about getting aroused when surrounded by naked bodies on a construction site.

“We get young men who say, ‘Well, how is it not sexual? How do I control myself?’” Karen said.

Her husband Jawn said his response was more like, “If you get aroused, you don’t have to be here.”

He added: “It means you are too immature or unable to separate sexuality from nudism. And until you can, don’t knock on the gate.”

Strict club rules limit the number of single guests and require married men to come with their spouses to gain entry.

Guests are forbidden from being racy in public and are required to carry a personal towel to sit naked on.

Karen and Jawn’s efforts at the campground to keep out potentially unsuitable guests seem to be working, as arousal is rarely an issue, they said.

Jawn defended the decision to allow naked children to mix with nudists, arguing that it teaches them to appreciate the different shapes of the human body.

“They are exploring, asking and searching,” he said.

“They’ve grown up to respect the body, to understand the body, to know that not all bodies are absolutely perfect.”

Karen said she was never ashamed of the naturist way of life as she was raised in Fern Hills in a naturist family.

She added, “I knew there was nothing wrong with it. I was proud to be a nudist.”
