Despite her fame as a glamor model, Sam has rapidly transformed to become more popular with pop music throughout her career.

The newlywed singer told OK! magazine many years ago, her ‘wonderful mate’, lead singer Lemmy – who passed away in 2015 – offered to give her a present on her wedding day after her father passed away in 2000.

Before Lemmy’s death, Sam had a 12-year relationship with her manager, Myra Stratton, until her former fiance died of cancer in 2015.
