BAFTA’s much-anticipated TV awards are back and – to the relief of celebrities attending the prestigious event – they are no longer digital.

Aside from winning the prize, one of the most eagerly awaited parts of the ceremony was receiving the ultra-luxury gift bag, which contained countless lavish gifts one could only dream of.

While it won’t match the Oscars famous £110,000 bag – complete with butler service and £58 chocolate-dipped, gold-plated biscuits – you certainly don’t. can be ignored.

But since BAFTA becomes carbon neutral in 2020, what does that mean for its gift bag?

Instead, celebrities will be given a range of eco-friendly gift cards for each of the event’s premium partner brands.

There will be gift cards given to each event attendee to spend on brands such as Champagne Taittinger, Lancôme, S. Pellegrino, The Savoy, Villa Maria and Woodford Reserve.

These cards will be presented to the stars in a custom premium crossbody phone bag made from 11 recycled plastic bottles.

Back in 2020, lucky attendees gave fans a pinnacle inside their gift bags as the ceremony went virtual, with all the stars watching from home.

Among the gifts included a bottle of Champagne Taittinger, a bottle of white wine, a pack of Kiko makeup and a special bottle of San Pellegrino.

They also have a coloring book, a champagne cork and some sweets.

In previous years, the BAFTA TV Awards’ scrumptious bags included treats ranging from shampoo and fake tans to luxury chocolates, scented candles and Evian liquor.

Killing Eve star Jodie Comer, who was nominated for a Lead Actress award, opened up about her stay-at-home look.

The actress shared a snap of herself posing in the garden with a glass of mist as she prepares to host an outdoor barbecue.
