The tragic death of former Miss America Cheslie Kryst has become another story inside the dark curse of beauty queens.
Kryst was found dead after police said she fell from the 29th floor of her Midtown high-rise apartment in New York City.

During the Miss America 2019 pageant, Kryst took home the crown as Miss North Carolina. She worked as a lawyer and later worked as a reporter for Extra after winning the title.

Thomas Hand, 37 years old, and his wife, former Miss Mississippi Christine Kozlowski, 33, were believed to be preaching in Montgomery, Alabama when he was shot.
