A new high-flying luxury yacht designed to fly, not sail, has been revealed.
The Air-Yacht has all the trappings of a prestige boat, but takes to the skies thanks to two giant trenches.
The two shields are connected via four carbon bridges on each side to the main central structure.
The overall length of the dry carbon fiber structure is 150 meters, with a width of 80 meters, while the main center deck is 80 meters long and 10 meters wide.
The so-called ‘inflatable basement’ allows the vehicle to float on water when required.
Passengers can enjoy a central area that combines a spacious living room with a dining area.
There are also five passenger suites available on each side, with sky window views and a special centrally placed ‘master suite’ with 360° views.
An additional option allows helicopters to stop over the structure to visit local destinations.
The Air-Yacht’s twin chambers contain 400,000 cubic meters of helium gas propelled by eight counter-rotating electric motors.
Powered by ultralight batteries and solar panels, the vessel can fly at a top speed of 60 knots for more than 48 hours.
Lazzarini Design Studio explains: “The Air-Yacht is not an airship for public transport or tourism purposes, it was conceived for a private owner with a vision for yacht/aeronautical development. big.”
When it comes to landing on water, Lazzarini says: “The Air-Yacht is propelled down from the engine’s rotation and can stay in the water through helium depressurization and ballast mooring.
“It can go quietly through the water at a speed of 5 knots.”
This isn’t the only crazy yacht design – they also created a concept superyacht with 200ft ‘hole’ inside it.
And theirs concept ‘yacht’ is a tribute to Ferrari, with the famous Rosso Corsa red.
We have rounded a number The most beautiful superyacht in the world.
