Inside Wayne Lineker’s 60th birthday with Love Island stars – when Gary doesn’t show up

Wayne Lineker didn’t want to cap his 60th birthday without a night to remember at his Ibiza party pad, as he joined reality stars and friends for an epic celebration at his famous nightclub

Wayne Lineker threw an epic 60th birthday party at his famous beach club in Ibiza as he partied the night away with his celebrity pals.

But despite the guest list awash with famous faces, his big brother Gary Lineker was notably absent from the celebrations.

Those who made the milestone party on the Balearic island included Love Islanders Calum Best, Curtis Pritchard and Jack Fowler and Celebrities go out Stars Chloe Ferry, Tom Zanetti and Corrie star Kimberly Hart-Simpson.

The dad-of-four shared photos of his dance party with Instagram, but was open about his brother Gary’s absence – after the couple became estranged, he found it difficult.

sharing a picture with his older brother, wayne told his fans earlier this month: “If there was one person in the world I would love to surprise myself at my 60th birthday party next week @obeachibiza it would be this man.

“I don’t think it’s too difficult to figure out that we’re not as close as we were #lifestooshort #brothers.”

Wayne and former Footy star Gary had a difficult relationship growing up, despite growing close.

The Celebs Go Dating star previously told The Sun their relationship deteriorated when Gary met Danielle Bux, who he has since divorced.

In 2015, he said: “In my opinion, Danielle cost me my relationship with my brother. Unfortunately, Gary is no longer a part of my life.”

Sharing an Instagram story, he appears shirtless with Joss Mooney as he hugs his pal and wishes him many happy returns.

Wayne also posed alongside a number of beauties including Chloe Ferry, who posed for the camera.

The couple, who famously pulled an engagement prank on Instagram, and Chloe admitted football legend Gary Lineker’s brother would marry her in a “heartbeat”.

The Geordie Shore star admitted the star was one of her best friends and their 34-year age difference wasn’t an issue.

“If Wayne could get his way and marry me if he wanted to,” she openly admitted.

The birthday girl went for his signature casual look with beige chino shorts and a black t-shirt.

He also posed with his good pal Calum Best, who flashed a huge grin as he put his arm around Wayne’s shoulder at the reality star-studded event.
