Instagram users are unable to log in due to a mysterious outage
INSTAGRAM has been hit by a mysterious outage, affecting some people’s ability to log into the platform.
Corresponding down detectorthere is an increase in reported problems.
So far it is unclear what is causing the problem.
Luckily, it looks like not all users have been hit so far.
But the unlikely ones say they’re getting an “Error” pop-up advising them “please wait a few minutes before trying again”.
Others get an even more confusing message that says “feedback_required”.
Many have flocked to Twitter to find out what’s going on.
“Instagram won’t let people sign in anymore,” said one user.
“Not just me, but hundreds of people facing the same problem.”
Another joked: “Dear @elonmusk, please buy Instagram and make sure it never crashes again.”
Complaints appeared to have increased around 7.30am BST.
This all comes after Instagram secretly changed its logo, as well as a new font.
