IPHONE owners are being encouraged to enable an important privacy setting.
Enabling this feature will not allow your friends to use stealthy methods to track your activities.
If you are a Iphone users, you may be familiar with the Control Center.
It gives access to a number of iPhone functions – including some notes, controlling lights, and even playing back media on your TV.
One of the great perks of Control Center is that you can access it from the lock screen.
Importantly, you don’t need to unlock the device to use it.
But that may be seen as a security risk for some users.

Thankfully, it only takes a few seconds to turn the feature off.
If you turn it off, you can still use the Control Center. But first you need to unlock your device.
Of course, you may not want to turn it off.
It’s a handy feature that can be very useful when it’s easy to access.
So if you’re very trusting, you might want to disable access to the lock screen.
How to turn off Control Center on iPhone lock screen
You can turn off Control Center on the lock screen at any time.
Unlock your iPhone and then go to Settings.
Then tap Face ID and Passcode – or Touch ID and Passcode if you’re using a Home button device.
Enter your passcode if you are asked.
Then, scroll down and find the Control Center toggle.
Set the switch to the Off position, so the button is gray, not green.
That’s it: Control Center is no longer accessible from the lock screen.
If you change your mind, you can go back to Settings and turn it back on.
It’s the same process on your iPad.
