With over 60 events planned, this global series will mark the significant impact Irish businesses are having around the world. In addition to providing innovative solutions to meet global challenges, Irish companies employ close to 1.2 million people worldwide.

After two difficult years, this year marks the first live St Patrick’s Day Global Events Program since the pandemic began. Irish government ministers – including Taoiseach Micheal Martin, Tánaiste and the Minister for Business, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar, and Trade Promotion Minister Robert Troy – will return around the world, working to strengthen and foster important relationships with our international trading partners.

With events taking place across North America, South America, Europe, UK, IMEA and Asia Pacific, our international events program offers an invaluable opportunity to highlight the offer. Irish innovation and innovative solutions from Irish companies in areas such as cybersecurity, sustainability, agriculture, and more.

In Washington, Taoiseach will attend our inaugural Women in Business roundtable event recognizing Irish female leaders scaling Irish companies in North America, and will meet senior executives from MNCs Ireland’s leading companies such as Icon PLC, Glanbia, Kerry Group and Ornua, in recognition of the great contributions of Ireland – the origin of FDI in the US. Across North America, a series of Enterprise Ireland customer and partner events will take place in San Francisco, New York, Boston, Austin, Chicago, Seattle, Toronto and Montreal. While in London, Taoiseach will also attend a roundtable event with consumer-focused Irish companies expanding in the UK.

Robert Troy, the Secretary of State at the Department of Business, Trade and Employment, will be in India, for a series of business events focused on technology services and education. Events are also taking place in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Portugal and France as well as the Nordic countries, bringing together Irish companies and their overseas customers.

As we reconnect and rebuild valuable relationships with our business partners around the world, for businesses this St Patrick’s Day is all about the three Rs of life. post-pandemic – reopening, re-appearing and reconnecting.
