The huge jackpot has been happening since last June.

Winners who purchased their tickets from Laura’s XL convenience store, contacted Lotto team leaders and consulted with legal and financial advisors prior to accepting the award.

Lotto spokesman Fran Whearty said the winners were doing the right thing by taking their time and stated: “It’s all here waiting for them.”

He say National Lottery expected to pay 19 million euros in the next week or two.

Speaking to the Irish Sun, Whearty said: “They came forward. We verified the ticket and all that. We asked them to go away, get the legal and financial advice they needed.

“We expect to be paid in the next week or two whenever they are ready to claim their prize.

“We’re basically just waiting here and waiting for them to finally claim.”

Once the “life-changing” prize is paid off, winners will decide if they want to continue or remain anonymous.

Whearty said the National Lottery advised winner to “do absolutely nothing” with cash for the first few weeks.

He added that it was the “right thing to do” to take their time.

He said: “It’s completely life-changing and I always tell winners, it’s clear that life-changing wins can be different.

“20,000 euros can be life-changing for someone. We always say the same thing.

‘LOSE THEIR TIME’

“Do absolutely nothing. And that’s what a financial advisor would tell them. Sometimes nothing should be done for the first few weeks, even months.

“But it’s huge for them. This will change their lives and possibly generations in their families.

“I think it’s the correct thing to do for them, take their time. Some winners are happy enough to claim it right after the win but I think they’re doing the right thing when it comes to losing time. their time.”

Whearty added: “It’s all here waiting for them.”

Last week, bettors at a Mayo party laughed at the suggestions theybeat the jackpot of 19 million euros last Saturday joked: “We’ll drink Champagne, not Guinness if we win.”

WINNER FOR HIDE

Many people have believed that a pub organization at the Bungalow Bar has caught the lot.

However, Alanna Scott, the parent who owns the bar, told the Irish Sun: “I can tell you it wasn’t us. I wish it was like that. We spent over €200 on tickets though. I think the most we won was €30.

“I can’t tell you who won it. We did an association the night before the draw with all the people in the pub who wanted to do it. I think there are more than 20 people in there.

“Everybody wants to find out who it is but I doubt we will ever find out. There was a loud buzz around town. Everyone is very excited.”

Alanna added: “It was a great boost for Mayo at the start of the year but we’ll get through it with a win over Sam Maguire, especially now that Oisin Mullin won’t be going to Australia.

“I don’t know the winner but if winner would like to donate any amount of which I would happily take some. “
