And in the Lotto Plus 1 draw worth €1million, the numbers drawn were 04, 07, 08, 32, 33, and 47, with the bonus number 36.

Meanwhile, the lucky numbers for the Lotto Plus 2 draw worth a whopping €250,000 were 09, 13, 19, 26, 30 and 33, and the bonus ball 20.

There was no winner of tonight’s main €3,795,519 jackpot.

But Lotto bosses say over 77,000 players won prizes in Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.

And 71 punters walked away with €500 each with the raffle number 6762.

CAPITAL GAINS

On Saturday, an Irish Lotto player from Dublin won €250,000 in tonight’s Plus 2 draw, as over 180,000 punters across the country won prizes.

The National Lottery said: “An online player in Dublin scooped the top prize of €250,000 in Saturday night’s Lotto Plus 2 draw after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket online at www.lottery.ie.

“The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification to the user’s online account and a separate email has now been sent to the lucky Dublin ticket holder.

“The online winner should make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

“The winning numbers in last night’s (Saturday 29th January) Lotto Plus 2 draw were: 08, 09, 17, 19, 21, 42 and the bonus was 39.

“Saturday night’s Lotto draw marked the first Lotto Plus Raffle promotion of the year which saw 105 players get a massive boost to their winnings as the National Lottery topped up the Lotto Plus Raffle with an additional €1 million.

“The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 80 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw.

“Last night, there were 105 Raffle winners which meant the boosted prize fund divided out to a prize of €10,024 for each Raffle winner.

“The winning ticket holders are advised to sign the back of their tickets and check www.lottery.ie for details of their nearest An Post Prize Claim Centre where prizes up to €14,999 can be claimed.

“Alternatively, they can contact the National Lottery claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Online players will receive details of the process for claiming their prizes.”

    In the EuroMillions Plus draw for a jackpot of €500,000 the numbers pulled were 13, 36, 38, 42 and 49.

    There were no winners of the main top prize or the top plus prize.

    Lotto bosses have said over 39,000 players across Ireland have won prizes.

    In the main draw, the numbers pulled were 7, 10, 26, 35, 43, 45 and the bonus 46.

    In the Lotto Plus 2, the numbers were 8, 9, 17, 19, 21, 42 and the bonus 39.

    There was no winner of the Lotto jackpot. In total, over 108,000 players won prizes in Lotto and Lotto Plus draws.

    There was one winner of the Lotto Plus 2 top prize worth €250,000. The winning ticket was sold online.

  • PRIZE BOOST FOR LOTTO PUNTERS

    TONIGHT’S Lotto draw promises to see bigger than usual prizes as the National Lottery has confirmed that it will be adding an additional €1 million to the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund for this weekend’s draw.

    The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 80 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but tonight, players are set for a boost in their winnings.

    By topping up the raffle prize fund by €1 million, the National Lottery predicts that each winner of tonight’s Lotto Plus Raffle draw will receive between €8,000 – €12,500.

    A National Lottery spokesperson said: “As well as the estimated €3.5 million jackpot on offer, tonight’s Lotto draw also marks our first Lotto Plus Raffle promotion of the year.

    “The guaranteed to be won €1 million in the Lotto Plus Raffle means that there will be even more big winners than usual.

    “On a normal night, Lotto Plus Raffle winners are guaranteed to win €500 but for tonight’s draw, we are predicting each winner will receive between €8,000 and €12,500, depending on the number of winners.

    “Don’t forget that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales this evening.”

  • FRIDAY EUROMILLIONS

    THE numbers are in for Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, as a massive €50million jackpot was up for grabs.

    Lotto bosses say that while there were no winners of the main or Plus draws, over 54,000 Irish punters won prizes.

    The lucky digits for Friday’s €51,355,483 jackpot were 10, 25, 29, 34 and 45, with the lucky stars 09 and 10.

    And the winning numbers for Ireland’s EuroMillions Plus draw were 17, 20, 24, 40 and 43.

    Ten lucky players also scooped €5,000 each in the Ireland Only raffle.

    The winning raffle numbers were I-MFR-49153, I-MFS-77260, I-MFT-43252, I-MFV-48463, I-MFV-56775, I-MFV-61119, I-MFW-34877, I-MFX-72998, I-MFX-84461 and I-MFZ-69884.

    A GUARANTEED €1million is set to be won in this Saturday’s Irish Lotto draw – and raffle ticket winners are set to scoop thousands.

    By topping up the raffle prize fund by €1million, the National Lottery predicts that each winner of tomorrow night’s Lotto Plus Raffle draw will receive between €8,000 – €12,500.

    Usually between 80 and 120 raffle ticket winners take home only €500 each.

  • DUBLIN & CORK WINNERS

    DUBLIN has gained a new millionaire in Wednesday night’s Lotto Plus 1 draw AND a player in Co Cork has scooped a nice €102,570.

    The winning Dublin ticket was bought online, while the Rebel County player purchased their ticket from the Spar store at Firgrove service station in Bishopstown.

    The €1million winning Dublin player has been notified by the National Lottery and are being asked to contact the prize claims team to collect their prize.

    The Cork player who scooped the Match 5+Bonus prize after purchasing their winning ticket on the day of the draw is also being urged to come forward.

    Store owner Colm O’Reilly was delighted to hear that one of his customers was waking up to good news this morning.

    He said: “We were thrilled to get the news from the National Lottery as this is the biggest prize that we have ever sold.

    “We have a team of twenty working here in-store so there’s a great buzz around the place with the good news. We have already had a few customers in checking their tickets so I imagine as the day goes on and the news travels, we’ll see even more.

  • NEIGHBOURING CORK TOWNS CELEBRATE EUROMILLIONS WIN

    NEIGHBOURING West Cork towns are “absolutely buzzing” to celebrate EuroMillions win.

    The National Lottery have confirmed that the lucky tickets were sold in Galway City and incredibly, in two neighbouring towns in West Cork, Clonakilty and Dunmanway.

    The Galway player purchased their Normal Play ticket at the Spar store in Ballybrit on the outskirts of Galway on January 20.

    The Spar store, which is owned by Gerard Geraghty and managed by his brother John, is no stranger to big EuroMillions wins having sold a similar EuroMillions Raffle prize of €1 million in July 2018. 
     
    Two separate retailers in Clonakilty and Dunmanway are also celebrating as they were informed that they also sold two of the winning tickets in Friday night’s EuroMillions Raffle draw. 
     
    The two winning retailers which are based just 20km’s apart are Minihane’s Gala store on Pearse Street in Clonakilty town and Healy’s SuperValu store in Dunmanway in Co. Cork. 

    Samantha Minihane, who took over the running of Minihane’s Gala store last September, said West Cork is “absolutely buzzing” as a result of the wins.

    She said: “West Cork has been absolutely buzzing over the past few days as word of the two big wins in Clonakilty and Dunmanway came through.

    “It’s incredible craic down here now and this announcement will give us a great boost in the town and in the area. We have very loyal customers in the store here in Clonakilty so we’re absolutely delighted for whoever it may be”.

    In neighbouring Dunmanway town, Andrew Healy who has run Healy’s SuperValu with his wife Martina for the past 17 years, said the EuroMillions wins is a big boost to West Cork.

    He said, “When you think about how many EuroMillions players there are throughout Europe, and we get two people in West Cork out of the lucky 100 players to collect this prize. It’s absolutely incredible!

    “Since the draw on Friday night, we’ve had people calling the store asking if we sold the winning ticket. I had no idea that we were the winning retailers at the time so there’s going to be a lot of excitement and tongues wagging in the town for a while after this win.

    “We’re overjoyed with the thoughts that one of our customers is one million euro richer and we wish them every success with the win”.  

    The EuroMillions Raffle draw guaranteed that 100 EuroMillions players across all nine participating countries would each win one of the €1 million raffle prizes.

    THREE lotto punters in Galway and West Cork have woken up millionaires after winning tickets in Friday night’s special EuroMillions Raffle draw.

    THE owner of the shop that sold the winning €19million Irish Lotto ticket has shared the bittersweet “ups and downs” of the week.

    Owner of Laura’s XL Convenience Store in Castlebar, Co Mayo, Laura Scriney, lost her grandmother last week, just days before finding out her store had sold the biggest winning Lotto ticket of all time.

    Laura now stands to cash in on a nice €15,000 from the National Lottery due to her selling of the mega ticket.

    She said the last week has been a “mixture of emotions” as she celebrated the win with staff at her store this morning.

    Laura said: “Recent days have been such a mixture of emotions.

    “On this day last week Granny Scriney, 95, was in the funeral home. Today it’s a totally different story.”

    She reckons the winning Quickpick must have been purchased on either Friday or Saturday as her premises was closed on Wednesday and Thursday owing to the family bereavement.

    Laura, who took over the business in 2019, stands personally to gain €15,000 – but she hasn’t decided what to do with her windfall.

  • LOTTO JACKPOT RESETS

    THE Lotto jackpot has reset after the €19 million mega windfall was won by a player in Mayo on Saturday.

    The top prize for tonight’s draw is a guaranteed €2 million and tickets will be available to purchase until 7:45pm.

    The winning numbers in Saturday night’s draw are 2, 9, 16, 30, 37, 40 and the bonus was 23.

    The National Lottery had announced that it was a must-win draw and if no one won the jackpot, the ticket or tickets with the most numbers would possibly share the jackpot.

    This led to an expectation that there could be multiple winners.

    But amazingly the winner had all numbers to walk off with Ireland’s largest ever Lotto win.

    There was also one winner of the Lotto Plus 2 draw and that lucky person walked off with €250,000.

    The numbers draw in that draw were 6, 11, 19, 23, 26, 44 and the bonus was 16.

    There was no winner of the Lotto Plus One draw. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 16, 27, 33, 41 and the bonus was 12.

    The historic Lotto event saw 149 winners of the Match 5 + Bonus prize tier benefit from additional funds which are usually added to the jackpot and they will now claim €36,687 each.

    A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Saturday’s special ‘will be won’ Lotto draw has really lived up to the excitement over the past number of days and we are delighted to see so many winners sharing in that winning feeling.

    The €19,060,800 Lotto jackpot has officially been won by a player who matched all six numbers which meant that the ‘Will be Won’ mechanism wasn’t required tonight.

    “We are now asking all of our players to check their tickets very carefully to see if they are in possession of the golden ticket. If they are the lucky winner, we encourage them to sign the back of the ticket immediately and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie , and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize.”

    “Tonight also proved to be a big night for 149 players who benefited from the boosted prize fund to the Match 5 + Bonus prize tier.

    THE National Lottery website and app has gone down leaving thousands unable to buy a ticket online on the night of their “must-win” draw.

    The massive jackpot has been rolling since June 9 and must come to a close this weekend but users have been left frustrated after being unable to buy tickets virtually.

    One Twitter user said: “How you supposed to win the lotto if the server is down?”

    Another added: “The Lotto app has been down in the past hour, on the big night.”

    On their site, a Lotto spokesperson said: “Due to high traffic volumes, we are experiencing technical difficulties with some features. Thanks for your patience.

    “If you continue to experience issues logging in, please visit your local lottery retailer before 19:45.”
