Irish people are stunned after a woman spent €42.55 for just four Jägerbombs in a Dublin pub

The Irish were amazed at the astonishing price paid by a punter for just four drinks in a Dublin pub.
Emily, who tweets @emilybastow_, recently paid €36.20 for just four shots at Temple Bar – a Red Bull cost €6.35 more, making a total of €42.55.

She took to social media with a picture of the receipt after spending the night at The Temple Bar pub in Dublin.
She asked, “Am I seeing things?”
That made the price for a Jägermeister a staggering €9.05 – or €10.63 if you add the price of a Red Bull to make a Jägerbomb out of it.
A 700ml bottle of Jägermeister in a store would cost players around €30.50.

The price has left Irish people in shock, with one branding the high prices as “disgusting”.
One said: “I was there last week and a boy bought a round of baby Guinness for €81.”
PRICES PINTS
Regardless, Irish drinkers will have to shell out up to 50 cents extra for a pint of Guinness after prices were raised earlier this week.
Diageo, the brewers of Ireland’s favorite drink, announced the surprise price increase early last month.
The drinks giant is charging pubs an extra 12 cents a pint and forcing restaurateurs to raise prices by up to 50 cents just to keep their margins.
This comes after Heineken increased the price of its products by 17 cents a pint in December across all its products, including popular brands like Coors, Birra Moretti and Orchard Thieves.
The price increase for a pint of the black stuff came on February 1st and comes into play before VAT is added.
In 2019, the average price for a pint of Guinness was €4.65.
After Diageo’s last move, we could see the price of a pint of Guinness go up to €6.80 in a regular pub.
However, this varies from pub to pub.
