If there’s one thing Riot Games is exceptional at, it’s bringing the hype to Valorant’s major esports events. 2023 marks the first switch to franchising for Valorant’s competitive year, which will see 30 teams compete for the title of champion.
The first international event is just two weeks away from the start of the year as 32 teams have been invited to São Paulo, Brazil to compete in the strict LOCK//IN event. Beginning February 8th, Riot Games is giving its community the keys to supporting participating teams with a new in-game capsule featuring new melee, spray, and player cards.
All Valorant VCT LOCK//IN Bundle Content: Worth Buying & Release Date
The VCT LOCK//IN package starts on February 8th and will be in rotation until March 7th, which usually arrive around the in-game store update time. When purchasing the VCT LOCK//IN package you will receive:
- Misericórdia Melee (three more color variations)
- VCT LOCK//IN player cards
- VCT LOCK//IN spray
For now, the pricing of the bundle is still under wraps, but expect that to change as we get closer to the store. Regarding the value of the pack, it depends on how you feel about spending money in Valorant. Personally, the skins themselves are always well designed, but quite expensive.
However, like the Champions Bundle, 50% of the proceeds will go to participating teams, encouraging the community to take part in this offer. As a fan of Valorant’s competitive scene, I find this valuable. As with everything, it depends on how you feel!
