Is O2 priority disabled? Users will be banned from the app when the Beyoncé ticket presale goes live

HOARDS of 02 Priority users have reported that they are unable to access the app to get advance tickets to Beyoncé’s world tour.

O2 announced last night that tickets for the coveted concerts would go live tonight.

Reports of problems surfaced on Down Detector just before 10am this morning from users across the UK.

Users have taken to social media to share their worries as thousands hoped to get their hands on Beyoncé tickets in advance.

“We apologize to everyone who is having trouble getting Beyoncé tickets through Priority,” O2 said in a statement.

“The tickets are selling and we see a huge demand. We’re doing everything we can to help behind the scenes to keep the app running smoothly.”

Thousands of people flocked to the app to get Beyoncé tickets.

One fan who had access to O2 Priority wrote on Twitter that they were standing in line of more than 200,000 people waiting for tickets.

One Twitter user said: “Ticketmaster’s brutal vicious circle says you can only access Beyoncé tickets by ‘following the link in the O2 Priority app’ – but O2 Priority breaks down and doesn’t work, so there is no way to get a link.”

Another said: “They completely crashed the O2 priority app I can’t even get my free Greggs mocha!! Get out of the damn app!! Beyoncé can wait, I need my mocha now!!”

It’s not the first time that the technological infrastructure hasn’t withstood fans’ love for their favorite artists.

Fans often use every bit of technology in their arsenal to try and get their hands on their favorite artists’ tickets using a variety of laptops and smartphones.

However, this can cause apps like 02 Priority to crash.

The same thing happened last year when fans raced for tickets to see Peter Kay.
