A Sardinian villa owned by Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov, as well as a house on Lake Como in the name of Moscow TV presenter Vladimir Soloviev, have been seized after EU sanctions were passed, Reuters reported Saturday.

Police also confiscated two yachts owned by Russian oligarchs Alexey Mordashov and Gennady Timchenko on Friday, the Italian government confirmed on Saturday.

Mordashov’s “Lady M” was confiscated at a port in Imperia on Italy’s north-west coast. The boat was valued at 65 million euros by the Italian authorities.

Meanwhile, Timchenko’s “Lena”, worth around 50 million euros, has been fetched from nearby Sanremo.

All four men are considered close associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
