“It’s decent, isn’t it?” – Lewis Capaldi tries his first chicken filet roll with Niall Horan in Mullingar

Niall Horan brought Lewis Capaldi to get his first chicken fillet bun over the weekend.

The musicians made their way to the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Niall’s hometown of Mullingar on Saturday.

And during her travels, former One Direction star Niall made sure Lewis was introduced to a beloved Irish delicacy: the chicken fillet roll.

The moment was also one for the history books, as it marked the Scottish singer-songwriter’s first time sampling the staples.

Video captured by a fan shows the couple sitting outside a Spar on Dominick Street in Mullingar, where they can be seen tucking into their buns and drinking some water.

“It’s decent, isn’t it? I ate that for lunch every day,” says Niall Lewis in the clip.

After grabbing a place to eat, the two visited a number of attractions around Mullingar including the iconic Joe Dolan statue in the market place, which Lewis described as “the real king of Mullingar”!

Niall also climbed into a pub window to play a few tunes with a traditional band before driving Lewis around town, who was keen to practice his Irish language skills.

In a clip shared by TG4, a fan can be heard asking, “Conas atá tú?” (meaning “how are you?” in English), to which Lewis cheekily replied, “Póg mo thóin” (meaning “kiss my ass”) to one burst of laughter.

It comes after the pair wowed crowds when they took to Grafton Street for an impromptu musical performance on Friday.

Niall and Lewis surprised an enthusiastic young busker, Jacob Koopman, by joining him in a rendition of Lewis’ hit “Before You Go.”

Dozens of enthusiastic spectators enjoyed the free performance of the big music stars and their new busker.

While in Dublin, the friends were spotted at the Guinness Storehouse and some fans believe they visited the tourist attraction to film something involving the alcohol brand.

Guinness also shared a photo of the couple singing chants as they clink their pint glasses, further suggesting a project is in the works.

“Good things are coming,” Guinness captioned the post.
