“It’s insane to say Preston Park is one of the best”
As I read Phelim MacCafferty’s Friday column, I was stunned by his completely delusional claim that Preston Park was one of the “best parks in the country.”
I recently had to visit a project on Preston Park Avenue and parked accordingly.
The area around the park was a disgrace. Garbage everywhere, gutters not swept, weeds everywhere, grass not trimmed properly and areas around “obstacles” just grow out of control.
Also, apparently a group of visitors had set up camp around the fence. Are MacCafferty and his other eco-warriors actually leaving Hove Town Hall to look around the town and see the mess they’ve made?
I’m really fed up with the nonsense this man spews in his world of virtues signaling no actual action by the so-called “green” council.
The only thing that is green about this advice is that they are green by definition, meaning they have very little life experience or a specific job.
This council is a disgrace, like our city. Please abolish it in the next election.
