FILMING for the ITV show Grace continued this week with cast and crew receiving a special visit from Fatboy Slim.
Stars of the hit crime drama were spotted around Hove Lagoon yesterday while filming for the third season.
Series producer Kiaran Murray-Smith shared photos of the shoot on Twitter and said he was “so glad to be back shooting in Brighton”.
He also thanked DJ Fatboy Slim, who lives nearby, for visiting and chatting with the crew on set.
He said: “Thanks to Fatboy Slim for speaking with us on set. Made my decade, but that’s another story.”
The new season of Grace will follow the story of Brighton detective Roy Grace, played by John Simm, and will be based on three books by Brighton author Peter James: Dead Like You, Dead Man’s Grip and Not Yet Dead.
The Argus will continue to appear on the ITV show at the request of Peter James, as has been the case in previous seasons.
Grace was filmed at many places of interest in Brighton and Hove, with some scenes also taking place at locations in other parts of Sussex.
Scenes were filmed in Rottingdean at St Margaret’s Church, Nevill Road and Beacon Hill in August.
