He had booked the trip of a lifetime to Disney World for himself and his loved ones in January 2020 but due to travel restrictions they were unable to go.
Brits were banned from visiting the United States during the height of the pandemic.
First, the family were offered vouchers to rebook for the following year, which they accepted.
But Michael realized the price of the vacation had skyrocketed as the resorts celebrated Walt Disney World’s 25th anniversary during their postponed dates.

Rather than blowing his travel budget, the disappointed Worcester father asked British Airways for a refund in July last year.
But nearly three years after booking the trip, BA still hasn’t reimbursed him for his flights.
Michael says he hasn’t been able to take his family on holiday this year – although there are no travel restrictions – as he can’t afford it until he gets his money back.
The frustrated father told The Telegraph: “We were first offered vouchers to rebook for the following year, which we did.

“Trying to find someone to talk to was like banging my head against a brick wall.”
A spokesman for BA apologized for the delays in getting the refund and said it had now “made” the payment for Michael.

Also, three million vouchers have been distributed to travelers to use on future trips.
BA has been forced to ground flights this year as it looks to replace cabin crew who have been laid off or left their role during Covid.

They are due to cancel 16,000 flights this summer while staff threaten to go on strike over a wage row.
