From the fryer to the beverage station, Jack in the Box relies on automation to maximize efficiency and provide a better customer experience
Miso Robotics — the company transforming the restaurant industry with robotics and intelligent automation — announced a partnership with Jack in the Box to start a pilot using its core Flippy 2 and Sippy product lines at one of the national restaurant chain’s standalone locations possible plans for further integration in the coming months. Both products are built on the Miso platform and use artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision and data analysis to maximize efficiency in the commercial kitchen.
With ongoing staffing challenges impacting uptime and costs, Jack in the Box saw the need to revise its technology roadmap and implement new systems – particularly in the back-of-house – that improve restaurant-level economics and address pain points of the Work in the restaurant alleviate a large-volume canteen kitchen.

By installing Flippy 2 and Sippy, Jack in the Box will test the integration of both products into its operations and measure the benefits of a connected kitchen. With the goal that team members see an immediate impact on their daily tasks – spending less time at fryers and beverage stations and more time in front of customers.
