Jeff Brazier is ‘extremely proud’ as he praises son Bobby

Jack Tweed says he feels closer to his beloved late wife Jade Goody after finally reconnecting with their sons.

The 34-year-old – who married the Big Brother star just a month before her tragic death from cervical cancer in 2009 – had become close to Bobby and Freddy, who Jade shared with her ex Jeff Brazier.

They were only four and five years old when their mother died and moved in with their father.

And last year Jack had shared how he “desperately misses” the boys, who are now 18 and 17.

He has since reconnected with his former stepsons after meeting Bobby at the home of their mutual friend James ‘Arg’ Argent.

Jack and Jade’s wedding

After commemorating the 13th anniversary of Jade’s death, Jack narrated The sun : “I talk to the guys a lot more now than I used to and that really helps. They text me and I love being back in their life.

“I’ve never tried to replace their dad, I know I’m not their dad but they know they can talk to me if they ever need anything.

“I feel a lot closer to Jade when I talk to them and I know she would be so happy that we’re close again.”

Jack said he reached out to Freddy and Bobby on Jade’s anniversary to tell them how proud she would be of them and how they were a lot like her.

On this day he also paid his own tribute to his late wife.

Sharing a picture from their wedding day on his Instagram Story, Jack wrote, “13 years since I last saw this angel. Miss you every day.”

He also referenced the legacy she left by adding the hashtags “raising awareness” and “swab testing.”

Jade is believed to have helped save countless lives after her death sparked a huge spike in the number of women being screened for cervical cancer.

Such was the demand for swabs that politicians finally bowed to pressure to review the age at which women could be eligible for these tests.
