Jacqueline Jossa says she was forced to sell her home as she struggled with money after she EastEnders exited again in 2018.
Former soap star, 29, who played Lauren Branning on BBC fictional series, which unfolds about her money woes in a very real conversation.
Jac revealed that she’s not ‘ashamed or embarrassed’ to share her struggles with fans during a chat with Sam and Billie Faiers on their The Sam and Billie Show podcast.
The glamorous mother of two has been busy remodeling her stunning £1.2million Essex home she shares with Dan Osborne and and their two daughters.
But Jacqueline reveals she was in for a big shock after leaving EastEnders nearly four years ago because she lost her steady paycheck – and before she entered the woods of I’m A Celeb, she was forced to sell her home. their own in 2019.
The star revealed: “You’re right about the hustle. I’ve been at EastEnders for eight years where you get a set paycheck every week.
“It’s a set paycheck and I don’t have to do anything else. It’s my comforter, that’s all I know. Then it’s not.
“For me there’s no such thing as maternity pay, so when I have kids, I have to take a break and I have to do magazine covers to make ends meet.”

Jacqueline continued: “Once you leave, when you’re not on the show, you don’t have any money. Done! You don’t get paid anything else.
“I’ll have to shoot. People ask ‘Why are you selling your soul?’ I’m feeding my kids. That’s the difference. I’m not ashamed, not ashamed.”
Jacqueline added: “There was a time when I had no money. Before going into the woods, I struggled with money. I had to sell my house.

“And then I go in the woods and have great opportunities, so I’m never going to look at someone and say, ‘They’re not pushy enough.’ You have to do it.”
After appearing on I’m A Celeb, Jac also signed with InTheStyle – a sold-out collection.
The TV star and her little family moved into their permanent home last year – and she chronicled their renovation with Instagram fan.
