Jeff Brazier is ‘extremely proud’ as he praises son Bobby

Jade Goody’s eldest child has shared the poignant reason he doesn’t miss his late mother.

Bobby and Freddie Brazier were just five and four years old when their mother, Jade, died of cervical cancer in 2009 at the age of 27.

Bobby, now 18, whose father is former Shipwrecked star Jeff Brazier, has heartbreakingly revealed that the legendary Big Brother star’s public persona is all he has left of his beloved mother.

“I don’t feel like I missed a mother. It’s a normal life for me,” the model admitted in a recent interview The face

“I’ve kind of spent more life without her than with her.”

When asked if he “misses” Jade, the teen aptly replied, “I don’t. Because I feel like I’m not with her long enough to miss her.”

Bobby went on to explain to the publication how he feels Jade and his family have been dealt an “unfair” hand.

“I miss what could have been. I hear all the time that she was so present, she was unique,” he mused. “What hurts the most is that it didn’t just lose someone, it lost Jade.”

He heartbreakingly added, “I just would have liked to see what other people saw.”

Bobby – who lives with dad Jeff, stepmom Kate Dwyer and younger brother Freddie – is currently considering breaking into the world of stars while his modeling career takes off.

The teenager, who bears a striking resemblance to his late mother, has posed for big brands like Dolce and Gabbana and is a rising star in the industry.

Jade and Jeff welcomed Bobby into the world together in June 2003 – just 12 months after the late pop culture icon found fame in the Big Brother house at the age of 21.

The on-off couple had another son, Freddie, before going their separate ways in 2004.

The Shipwrecked star raised her two sons alone after Jade’s sad death

Sadly, after an inspirational battle with cervical cancer, Jade passed away on March 22, 2009, which also quite poignantly was Mother’s Day.

Jade had been on the Indian version of the reality TV show when she received a call from her counselor and was told she had cancer – having previously experienced symptoms including blood loss and pain in her leg.

After flying straight back to the UK, Jade received the devastating news that she had been battling cancer for two years and her tangerine-sized tumor had destroyed more than half of her uterus.

Before her death, the Bermondsey-born star was determined to earn as much money as possible for her two young sons and her future – she worked until her death, securing television interviews, pictures and her own reality show.
