Jeff Brazier ‘can’t help but be proud’ when he compliments his son Bobby

Jade Goody’s son Bobby Brazier has reconnected with his mother’s late husband Jack Tweed to support a fundraiser set up in her honor.

The 18-year-old model and her brother Freddie, 17, shared a close bond with Jack before their mother sadly passed away in 2009 after battling cervical cancer.

Earlier this year, Jack founded a cancer rehabilitation charity in memory of his late wife.

On Tuesday, Bobby showed his support when he shared a link to the charity’s upcoming prom event in July.

The event will see former TOWIE star Mark Wright host, with close friend James Argent and his band performing.

Arg said he was “honored” to perform at the event, which will take place at the Down Hall Hotel & Spa, in Bishop’s Stortford, with tickets costing £125.

It will be held at the place where Jack and Jade got married.

He recently posted an online video where he announced the charity ball.

Jack said: “I am proud to announce that I have established my own cancer rehabilitation charity to support my late wife, Jady Goody.

“This is very close to my heart and cervical cancer affects millions around the world.

“On Thursday, July 21, I will be hosting a prom for Jade at Down Hall, where we are married.”

Trying to hold back his tears, Jack added: “Mark Wright was hosting the night and we had Arg perform and on top of that we had DJ Colin Francis.

“There will be a welcome drink and a beautiful three-course meal.

“We have an auction, we have a lottery and we have games all night.

Jack recently revealed that he feels closer to his late wife after finally reconnecting with her sons.

The 34-year-old has become close to Bobby and Freddy, whom Jade has shared with ex Jeff Brazier.

They were only four and five years old when their mother died, and went to live with their father.

And last year, Jack told how he had “missed the boys so much”.

He reconnected with his stepchildren after running into Bobby at mutual friend Arg’s house.

After marking the 13th anniversary of Jade’s death, Jack said Sun : “I talk to guys more now than I did and it really helped. They texted me and I wanted to live their life again.

“I’ve never tried to replace their father, I know I’m not their father, but they know that if they need anything, they can tell me.

“It makes me feel closer to Jade when I talk to them, and I know she’ll be happy when we’re together.”
