Jamal Edwards: Brenda Edwards Expresses Love For Her Son

A friend of the music mogul has claimed Jamal Edwards’ death was due to a heart attack.

On Sunday, it was reported that music pioneer Jamal – founder of online urban music platform SB.TV and son of Loose Women star Brenda Edwards – has died aged 31.

At the time, the businessman’s cause of death was not shared, but when his grieving mother broke her silence about her son’s loss, she said his death comes after a “sudden illness”.

And now a friend has said he passed away Sunday morning after his last DJ performed at a bar the night before.

The source went to Acton High School with the businessman and said that his family shared with friends that Jamal had a heart attack and was discovered by his famous mother.

‘The details are still unclear but we are told it was a heart attack,’ friend Dwayne told MailOnline.

“He was out DJing on Saturday night and ended up coming home in the early hours of Sunday morning.

“The family is still trying to work it all out, but we heard that his mother found him in his bedroom and called an ambulance.”

Mirror contacted the estate of Jamal Edwards and a rep for Brenda Edwards for comment.

The death of a YouTube legend confirmed by SB.TV on Sundayafter rumors and tributes spread on social networks.

On Monday, Jamal’s mother Brenda confirmed that he had passed away.

Brenda wrote a statement and shared it with Good Morning Britain today, and it was live streamed by Susanna Reid.

“It is with the deepest sadness that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning from a serious illness. Myself, his sister Tanish and the rest of the family. His family and friends were completely devastated. He was the center of our world,” she shared.

She continued: “As we accept his passing, we ask for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss. I want to thank everyone for the news. messages of their love and support.

“Jamal is an inspiration to me and so many people. Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD.”

Jamal is said to have helped launch the careers of stars like Ed SheeranJessie J and Dave, are the eldest of two children of host Loose Women.
