James Bond and Star Wars movie posters among hundreds of posters up for auction

Original posters for the James Bond and Star Wars films will be auctioned off alongside a selection of other similar shipments.
ropstore is selling more than 570 posters and artwork, with an estimated total value of over £400,000.
The 007 movie commercial includes an advertisement for Sir Sean Connery’s first appearance as Bond in Dr. No in 1962, listed for between £10,000 and £20,000.

Posters for his second film as a secret agent in 1963 From Russia With Love are also up for sale, with an estimated price of £8,000 to £16,000.
Other batches include a set of 1997 Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition posters that were used in Odeon theaters to re-release the original trilogy to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope in 1977. The first was called Star Wars.
Three posters signed by Sir Alec Guinness, who played Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original films, along with a handwritten business card.
It costs a guide from £3,000 to £6,000.

A 1989 Back To The Future Part II poster, estimated to cost between £600 and £1,200, was signed by sci-fi stars, Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
Propstore says one of the most sought-after posters of the 1960s, the 1961 Breakfast at Tiffany’s advertisement, starring Audrey Hepburn, was expected to sell for between 5,000 and 10,000 pounds.

Posters for Disney classics Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from 1937 and 1951’s Alice In Wonderland are also being auctioned for an estimated £2,000-4,000 and £500-1,000 respectively. .
Other posters include Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film ET The Extra-Terrestrial, 1981’s Indiana Jones Raiders Of The Lost Ark, and 1969’s Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid.
