A James Bond REPLICA car is for sale for £3.5m – but too dangerous to drive on public roads.
Extras on the Aston Martin DB5 include active smoke screens, revolving number plates and simulated machine guns.
The limited edition motorcycle was one of only 25 produced last year and is an exact replica of the one one used in 1964 007 film Goldfinger.
But the added extras meant the car was deemed worthless on the road.
When Aston Martin launches the Continuation lineup in 2020, it’s the first time a DB5 has been produced more than 50 years.
Each car took over 187 days to be handcrafted in Newport Pagnell, Bucks.
The car was purchased by a wealthy collector in Saudi Arabia and is being sold through Silverstone Auctions, of Ashorne, Warwicks.
Expert Harry Whale said: “This left-hand drive model was delivered to its new current owner in 2020 and has been in a private collection ever since.
“The sale of it represents a really exciting opportunity to join a rather exclusive club.
“More than simply the most famous model produced by Aston Martin, DB5 . pickup truck often considered one of the most famous cars ever built. ”
